About this group

Young people from all over East Hampshire showed their talents at Show Off 2010 on Friday 16 April.

The event, in the Barton Hall, Horndean Technology College, saw talented young people from around the area take to the stage with singers, songwriters, dancers and bands aiming to impress the judges.

After a great evening of entertainment, the judges faced the difficult decision of deciding the winners.

In the 8-13 year old age group, second place went to Shannon Dodds, from Horndean, singing 'Warwick Avenue' by Duffy and the winner was Oli Norfolk from Alton with a dazzling hip-hop dance to 'I Can Transform Ya' by Chris Brown.

Third in the 14-18 year old age group was Henry Crew from Petersfield, singing and playing guitar. Second was Alex Baker from Horndean performing a song from the musical 'Chicago'. The winning act was Luke Cave and His Rubber Band, a six-piece band from Headley, Grayshott and Petersfield who won with their rendition of 'House of the Rising Sun' by The Animals.
