Hampshire Senate
About this group
The Hampshire Senate is a voluntary partnership between the various authorities that operate in the county.
It allows authorities to work together more efficiently, stripping away the bureaucracy and easing communication and collaboration.
The senate comprises:
- County Council leader
- Leaders of all 11 district councils
- Chairmen of Hampshire Police and Fire Authorities
- Chairman of the Hampshire Primary Care Trust
- Chairman of the Hampshire Association of Local Councils
- Hampshire Economic Partnership
- Hampshire Strategic Partnership
- Voluntary and Commmunity Sector
- Regional Development Agency
- Armed Forces.
