Petersfield Open Air Pool

Petersfield's Open Air Swimming Pool is a heated, out door open-air pool.

Based behind the Festival Hall, off Heath Road, the pool is open during the summers months and is described as the jewel in Petersfield's crown.

It was built in 1962 and funded almost entirely using money raised by the people of Petersfield.

It is now run as a charity, held in trust for the people of the town. It  receives an annual grant from Petersfield Town Council, but otherwise depends on income from the sale of tickets and refreshments to swimmers, grants, donations and fundraising efforts to cover running costs and improvements.

The pool was completely retiled in 2009 after a massive fundraising push by the management.
