TPS pitch is opened
Thursday 4th of March 2010
Pupils at The Petersfield School have had their first training sessions on the school's new artificial pitch.
After many months of planning, construction and a slight delay due to the snow, the artificial pitch at TPS, on Cranford Road, was handed over by contractors this week.

Following the recent opening of the new tennis courts, this marked the completion of phase 2 of the sports upgrade programme.
Students enjoyed their first training session on the pitch, and declared it to be "awesome".
There will be an official opening once the remaining new facilities are completed in Phase 3.
The facilities will be available for community hire from September.
