Get on your bike - new course will have you cycling your way to a healthier life
Monday 29th of June 2009
A course which aims to get cyclists back on their bikes has been launched.
The eight-week course, which starts on July 21, has been designed to restore confidence in anyone who hasn't ridden a bike for a while.
As well as covering the basics of cycling, like the parts of the bike and safe riding, it will also help to boost fitness.

The lessons are lead by qualified instructors who will aim to give out useful cycling tips and help you to feel confident on and off-road.
The course has received funding from Sport Hampshire and IOW, reducing the cost to local residents in East Hants . The cost is £3 each session and runs on Tuesdays from 10am until midday , beginning at the car park in Rowlands Castle .
Cllr Jenny Gray, Portfolio Holder for Lifestyles and Community, said: "This is a wonderful project which will help those who want to get back on their bikes.
"East Hampshire is full of great places to cycle and the sport is a fantastic way to get fit while enjoying the beautiful countryside."
The Return to Cycling course is run by Cycle Experience and is supported by East Hampshire District Council and CTC. Places are limited so, to book, please call 01730 234390
