Local sport clubs are invited to discuss sport and leisure in the Whitehill and Bordon area and will have the opportunity to meet and network with fellow clubs in the area.

Representatives from local sports clubs and leisure facilities are invited to come along to the Whitehill and Bordon Opportunity Leisure sub group on Wednesday 17 th December at Mill Chase Community School . There will be an opportunity to look at current sports and leisure provision, what the issues are and the way forward.

The meeting, will be chaired by Cllr Adam Carew, chairman of the Housing, Community and Leisure Advisory Group.

Deputy Leader David Parkinson welcomed the move adding that: "It is vital that local people are involved in the town's future and we are already focused on getting the best possible outcome for local people. This is the best opportunity we have ever had to get the town centre, services and leisure facilities that we need to make Whitehill and Bordon a much more attractive and enjoyable place to live."

There will also be an opportunity to discuss the latest findings from the Open Space Study carried out this year about playing field provision.

The meeting will be held at Mill Chase Community School and will begin at 7pm with coffee and mince pies available from 6.45pm .
