Naturist Nights at Alton Sports Centre – hosted by Shabden Leisure & the Friends of Alton

These Naturist evenings at Alton Sports Centre were started by Chris & Sandra over 28 years ago. For 5 evenings each year, naturists take over the whole centre – we have naturist access to not just the swimming pool – there’s also carpet skittles, carpet bowls, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, squash courts, table tennis, badminton, short tennis, volley ball, young children’s activity centre, fitness room (Tee shirt and shorts to be worn) and the cafeteria (most essential for that restorative egg & bacon roll or just a cup of tea!).

We would love you to join us, whether you have been a naturist all your life or want to try, for the first time, that unique feeling of freedom that swimming without a costume gives you. If you have never swum without clothes, you have definitely missed one of life’s pleasures.

All naturists welcome – make sure you bring some ID with you and we’ll sign you up for the Friends of Alton on the door.

Dates for 2012: Saturdays (the evening runs from 7:30pm to 10:30pm) – 4 February, 24 March, 22 September, 27 October, 1 December.

Cost: If you’re paying on the door, then it’s £12.50 for adults & £1 for kids under 16.

There has been an increase in costs for 2012. Season tickets are £50 (£45 for Shabden members) per person and £10 per person for tickets for a single night paid in advance. Children (who must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are £1 each per night. So for tickets for the Shabden evenings send Cheque/PO made payable to SLC plus SAE to SLC, 49A Spielplatz, Lye Lane, Bricket Wood, St Albans AL2 3TD. Purchasing in advance helps cash flow as we pay well in advance as well as speeding admission. The cost on the door on the night will be £12.50.
