East Meon Parish Council has 9 councillors representing local people.

Parish Councils are responsible for services like allotments, public toilets, parks and ponds, war memorials, and local halls and community centres. They are sometimes described as the third tier of local government, in our area that means they work alongside East Hampshire District Council and Hampshire County Council.

The Council meets 8 times a year on a Thursday morning in the Village Hall. Residents are invited to attend but may only join in the proceedings if invited by the Chair.
