We are a small informal Christian church, and welcome visitors who wish to worship or are just curious to know more about Jesus Christ.

We meet at 11am and 6:30pm on Sundays. The service is led by a lay preacher, we sing a few hymns, say a few prayers and have a sermon on some aspect of the Bible. We usually enjoy ourselves and visitors are welcome. We are part of the Baptist Union, but think of ourselves as Christians more than Baptists. Numbers at our services vary between ten and twenty, ages range from 3 months to 95.

As Christians we recognise that we are sinners saved by the Grace of God through the sacrifice of Jesus upon the cross. We believe that whoever believes in him and invites him into their life as their Lord and Saviour will inherit eternal life.

We welcome all, both believers and non-believers, who would like to know more about the trials and tribulations, not to mention the joys and rewards of the Christain life. Basically our main interest is learning more about our God as we study his word and go through life together.

We have a prayer meeting and bible study on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm.

We have a number of social events, including a monthly trip to a pub or restaurant in the  local area for lunch.

We are located at the junction of Mount Pleasant Road and Grove Road, Alton, GU34 1NP.
