Churcher’s College Junior School tell the story of the Willow Pattern Plate

Wednesday 22nd February 2012

The Story of the Willow Pattern Plate was the colourful production by Year 4 at Churcher’s College Junior School this February half- term.

Recounting the story behind the famous blue and white china we all know so well, the children performed a touching tale of forbidden love and heartbreak.

They performed fantastic group routines as Chinese guards, flames and garden spirits and the individual roles all acted with clarity and charm. With four main songs throughout, the singing was joyous and melodious.

It was truly a delightful and visually pleasing production skillfully directed by class teachers Janine Gillard and Matthew Forbes.
