300 litres of fuel siphoned from Alton trucks

Police in Alton are appealing for information after 300 litres of fuel was stolen from two trucks.
It happened between 11am on Saturday 28 and 7am on Monday 30 January at Mill Lane/Waterbrook Estate industrial site.
The fuel, worth around £500, was siphoned from two trucks on the forecourt.
PC Louise Parkes who is investigating said: “Fuel theft is increasing and we’d like to hear from anyone who has information on this theft.
“Do you know anyone who has recently obtained a large amount of fuel?
“We are also advising business owners to take extra precautions when leaving vehicles overnight. If you see any suspicious activity in and around industrial sites, car parks or anywhere that cars are left vulnerable overnight please report it to us on 101.”
