Links to other local websites
We know how hard it can be to find local websites unless you know exactly what you’re searching for – that’s why we have collected lots of websites for you. You can find them in the form of a tag cloud on the links page.
What is a tag cloud?
It is a list of all tags used to describe the list of websites we have added links to.
Tags are keywords associated with the website. The tag cloud shows the popularity of the tag by increasing its font size.
Where else can I see links to local websites?
Each town and village page shows a list of websites we have found in a box on the right hand side of the page.
The example here is from the Alton page.
You can scroll up and down the list (which is alphabetical) by using the scroll bar on the right.
Delicious social bookmarking
We are using the delicious social bookmarking service, which allows users to tag, save, manage and share web pages from a centralized source. It means you can access a list of your favourite sites no matter what computer you are on.
