Accident on the old A3 at Sheet causing problems between Petersfield and Liss today – avoid!
On the A3(M) southbound between junctions J3 and J5, minor delays can be expected at peak times due to roadworks , between 10 pm and 5:30 am, from 23 March 2012 to 31 March 2012
The Hindhead Tunnel is closed northbound this morning (Tuesday 20 March) and traffic is stretching back to Grayshott. Avoid!
Road through Standford into Lindford (B3004) currently closed for roadworks, diversions through Whitehill and Bordon
Junction to A3 at Grayshott is closed for probably two more weeks. Access to Grayshott village possible from Headley and from A3 via Crossways Road. Traffic using Crossways Road in both directions.
The road is closed at Stairs Hill between Selborne and Greatham. A tree has fallen across the carriageway apparently
Big queue at the Ham Barn Roundabout going northbound this morning
A bit slow at the Ham Barn roundabout heading north this morning, they’ve narrowed the lanes I think there’s some work going on on the verges or something
Traffic alert – A3 Northbound near Clanfield. 3 car accident blocking outside lane – traffic already tailing back.
Loads of roadworks in the area at the moment! Here’s three:
1. Petersfield Road in Greatham is closed for roadworks. Open for access only. I think the closure times are between 9.30 and 3 because of the school.
2. The Headley Road in Liphook, closed from the bridge over the A3 to Standford. Access only
3. Pulens Lane in Petersfield, closed for roadworks, access only
Look out for road works on the A3 (M) at Junction 5 this weekend (Friday 11 March to Monday 14 March)
They’re closing a lane, where the A3 (M) joins the Westbound A27, overnight from 10pm to 6am.
The A3(M) southbound will be closed at Junction 5 for bridge repairs from 8pm – 6am from 28 February to 4 March and then from 8pm on Friday 4 March until 6am on Monday 7 March (that’s the whole weekend).
The #A3 southbound is closed between the jcts with the #A287 and the #A325, due to an accident. Road expected to re-open from 1:30am …
The A3 southbound entry slip from the A272 will be closed due to roadworks, between 10 pm and 6 am, from 14 February 2011 to 5 March 2011.
The A3(M) southbound will be closed at jct J5 due to bridge repairs, from 10pm on 18 Feb 2011 to 6am on 21 Feb 2011
Traffic alert – A3m (southbound) – A3(M) Hampshire – One lane closed southbound, accident, a single vehicle involved at J2, Horndean
On the A3 northbound between the junctions with the A283 and the A3100, there are currently delays of 40 mins due to heavy traffic
County council’s live updates say the A3 and A3 M are now free flowing but Hampshire County Council CANGO services in the Alton area are suspended until further notice, please contact travel centre before you travel.
Lorry in Winton Road is now cleared
An articulated lorry has slipped diagonally across Winton Road, in Petersfield, blocking one of the entrances to the Central Car Park. It is currently being dug out but it is estimated that will take some time.
East meon cut off due to show and ice. no way out again as in Jan. Roads says this is a priority route but have not seen any salt or grit lorries.
A3 Hampshire – A3 in Longmoor Camp closed southbound between the A325 junction and Ham Barn Roundabout, because of a serious accident.
